That’s where I’m going to be from the 17th - 20th of this month (tomm through Sunday).
Mum & I were (super) blessed to get the opportunity to meet & talk with Joyce Meyers & Brian Houston in person, at a small gathering earlier today. Am really looking forward to the blessings the Lord has in store for me!!

I’m sceptical about some of the preachings of these Prosperity Gospel proponents. Here’s an interesting essay about one of Brian’s books “You Need More Money”.

@ Neohet: Am not a buyer into the whole Prosperity Gospel thing. But I do know that whenever I’ve seen Joyce Meyers on TV, she’s spoken a word that I needed to hear at just that day. Coincidence? I don’t believe in coincidences in the Lord.
I’ve not heard/seen too much of Brian Houston earlier, but I know that he’s been EXCELLENT at the conference so far. Very Biblical & Solid.
As for the pdf file, it’s written by someone else on his book. I have no comments on that as I haven’t read the book myself. Earlier this year, a close dear friend was slammed on the internet for something she supposedly blogged about - when in fact she didn’t. The person who was paraphrasing her, did so wrongly & resulted in not only a mini-blog war but also by hurting my friend by accusing her of saying something she hadn’t.
While the essay maybe true, it also may not be. And I’m not going to judge until I read the book for myself. Meanwhile, as I said, whatever I’ve heard from Houston thusfar is 100% Biblically correct (& even if I hadn’t picked up on any wrong statements, there are enough of seniors at the conference with me who would have & told me about it).

How was the programme? All my friends who attended say it was supercool. Delirious and Darlene must have rocked!!

WOW : Did Delirious come? I love his songs, he is great. My wife, Pamela is a great fan of Joyce Meyer. Unfortunately, she is with me in Muscat at the moment

I have heard Joyce Meyer many times at the confrences. Yet I really enjoy Hillsong so much!! I have bought several Hillsong CD’s and they are one of my favorites. You are going to have a blast.

@ Jason: Met her at a private gathering where she was invited (& no, not by me). The program was Excellent. And yes, Delirious & Darlene completely, totally rocked. Fabulous stuff.
@ Lancy: Yes, Delirious was there. And yeah, their songs/hymns are fabulous. Bought a lot of CDs. Know you guys are in Muscat right now. Someone we both know refused to spend even 2 minutes with me during Christmas even though he was home alone.
