This Big Hotshot guy called me last night.
I was kinda expecting to speak with him sooner or later wrt some work, but his call was still took me by surprise anyway.
I jumped. Then held my breath hoping he didn’t hear me jump. Then I wondered if he could hear me holding my breath.
He on the other hand was most nonchalant.
But then he mentioned my blog.
Yup, apparently, Mr. Big Hotshot reads my blog (which is probably a good reason for me to stop this post right here, but hey, when did good reasons ever stop me from doing stupid things?).
(just a random man off google, whom I wouldn’t mind talking to either, but I digress)
Excerpt from our conversation:
“I read your blog, it’s great!”
I gush. No intelligent sentences are forming in my mind.
“You’re 18 right?”
Wha-huh??? Are you friggin’ kidding me?
“er… no, just slightly older”
Well, give or take a decade.
I wonder whether I mentioned my age in my birthday post. Then I tell him how old I am.
“WHOA! You REALLY photoshop those pics don’t you!!”
A little information can be a dangerous thing I tell ya. Sigh.
Mr. Big Hotshot if you’re reading this; thank you much muchly, I owe you big time.
