The title of this post really sums up & explains what the Technorati Link Exchange program is all about.
But perhaps my close friend and blog marketing guru G, (that’s guru G & not guruji) who broke into the Technorati Top 100 Most Favorited Blogs (originally thought up by Dosh Dosh) said it best. It’s a way to:

Since I too occasionally get into the behind the scenes of my blog - and since I was feeling rather good about my blog feeds crossing the double century mark 
(yay!) - I thought, what-the-hey, I’m too gonna start a Favorites Exchange Program - and plead with you all - in my ever so nice voice (yes, eyelashes batting et al) -
Please add me to your Technorati Favorites and (for good measure!) do also subscribe to my feed

somewhere in december 06 and not dosh dosh. Though it worked well at that time but this practice has actually made the whole concept of favourites in technorati worthless

Actually, I had tried this with my friend John(TP) but it did not work well. We got into top 100 easily but the traffic we got was bad. Even few other known bloggers were in top 100 list but none of them got good traffic from there.
What I suggest is, play around with your title tag a bit and enjoy the flow from google

I’ve had problems being able to fave people for quite some time, but another that had the same issues has told me that it’s now working when I tried to fave him. It doesn’t show up on my end, but should on yours. Sometimes it takes a day or so to appear, in case you don’t see me in yours immediately.
I’ve had so many comments to my post that I receive errors opening the page, so I wanted to let you know here instead.
