It’s a crazy Monday (so what else is new?) and I’m taking time out to blog & tell you people what have I been upto - yes, a blogoholic indeed. So, what have I been upto? Lots of things. Have joined a “cell“. It only comprises of single women - and I couldn’t help noting the irony. Paris is getting out, I’m getting in.
On Paris though, I caught her interview with Larry King where she talked about how she to raise money for worthy causes including “for kids and for breast cancer and multiple sclerosis.” Despite what she obviously intended, she still came out looking pretty flaky, the best example of which was when she told Larry King she read the Bible “a lot” in prison. He then asked her
What’s your favorite Bible passage?
She seemingly wondered a bit, fidgeted some more & then came up with this winner:
I don’t have a favorite
But somehow I feel for the girl & for what it’s worth, I’m standing with the lot of people who’re for her changing her life & drawing good from her whole jail experience. Go Paris, go!
Other stuff in the week included a couple of movies. At home (yes, it was raining like nobody’s business a lot of last week) I happened to catch “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” starring Paris’ friend Lindsay Lohan. Trust me, if your birthday is around the corner & you’re going to soon be another year older, this is NOT the movie you want to see. It made me realise I’m not a teenager. And heck, that was a bloody looong time ago.

While discussing movies, it should be noted, there are not-so-happening movies, there are bad movies and then, there’s the Fantastic 4 & the Silver Surfer. Unlike the last Fantastic 4 film (which I realise in retrospect was equally inane) I didn’t have the crazy Mmu with me to crack jokes at the film, hence I was really & seriously bored senseless. If I was in a generous mood I’d review it as follows; “Take you kids but make sure you don’t watch it“. However the gentleman friend present on occasion with me insists that kids will not like it either, so well.
I did however get a pic of me with the Silver Surfer himself, so all you people worried that my narcissistic streak was wearing off, don’t be.
Spent one very enjoyable night with the entire famile celebrating my Nan’s 84th b’day. Further to this tribute I made in her honor 2 years ago, I’m happy to report, she’s still as humorous as ever & still going strong. I’m also pleased to note that a particular female person who usually irritates the heck out of me by asking me a dozen times every minute if I’ve put on weight was actually toned down & well behaved. Thank you God for little mercies.

Yesterday caught up with the very pretty Saks, who is looking as pretty as ever and has (seriously) not put on an ounce anywhere (I checked) despite eating half of Delhi on her recent holiday.
Finally, last night, a very surreal experience with not one, but 2 sexy men and very sexy ‘Joey’ chairs. What transpired? Well, certain things even I do not blog about.

@ Sam: Thx & Mumbai’s pretty dried up now!
@ Secret Admirer: well…
@ Naresh: Unfortunately most of my male friends (sorry, make that ALL) agree with you. I have gone through “Out of the Blue” (horrid film) for no reason other than to let male friends watch her in skimpy bikinis.
@ Steve: Thank you & sure
@ inexile: SSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!!
You are NOT supposed to be discussing privileged information on my blog!!
@ Sam: er what???? You are groggy alright!!
@ Bikram: Already have.
