CNN-IBN interviewed me at the Pune Blog Camp last Saturday. Unfortunately my interview did NOT seem to make the final cut! However, you can see me in there though, next to my dear friend Sakshi whose interview thankfully did make it (congrats babe!).

yes to all of the above. i saw you early this morn, and was disappointed not to hear your lovely voice in my living room….but mel maybe it was just a question of not having the right prop at the right time - sakshi, no hard feelings, but you DID have a laptop in your hands right there right then….in fact i think the interviewer got the 2 blogs mixed up (or, horrors, thought they were one and the same). i think the media needs an educational session….
however mel you looked cuter, and yes, nice t….wish i could have been at the meet!!!

@ Shub: Thx darling - though the first time I saw the clip my heart sank, I was like - OMG I can’t believe I was edited out. But now I’m all back to my (airheady) happy ways!!
And about Ms. Bedi. Tsk Tsk. She is not getting old.
@ St: Yes, I thought so too. My darling brother in law thought it was too skanky for me (you gotta love ‘em elder brothers!) but I said that was the point. It was so unlike me that it was funny!

and @ mel, no digs about my night life, you try being a mom without family support, nowhere to safely keep the son and heir at night, and a (poor darling) husband who works late hours….right now ashok is my love, my life, my everything….you know i just know i’m going to look back on this a few years from now and say ‘it was worth it’. i hope.

@ Shady: Would you believe it, I actually got a call for a Hindi serial in the last month? I had to turn them down saying my Hindi was good enough to get my message through to people but definitely not good enough to be in a Hindi TV serial!!
