Do a google on James Poniewozik & the first thing you’re gonna find out is that he is TIME’s TV and media critic, where he’s been since 1999.

Times says this of Poniewozik:

He has written in-depth stories on subjects from the reality TV craze to the Sopranos and has written essays, features and reviews on subjects ranging from international media coverage of the war in Iraq, t”to the influence of 9/11 on popular culture, to the way Hollywood’s portrayals of mobsters have affected the mafia itself.” He’s also written widely on books, movies, comic books, the news media and pop culture in general

Before that he wrote for Salon.com for 2 years and while there, he apparently also aired his ‘commentaries’ on the same on radio - WNYC-AM/FM (New York) and NPR’s “On the Media”

Though I found a ridiculously high number of articles written by this guy, there was just about this much I could find out about him (stuff here & other things from his bio at Times & Salon.com).

I do have his (Times) blog ‘Tuned In’ saved though - so perhaps that’ll give me a further insight into who he is.

*James Poniewozik was the author of Tina Fey’s mini-bio & thus my second person in my online learning project*
