It’s like this you see…
Last evening I went to Inorbit Mall (for the second time in my life). It wasn’t really like we had planned to, it somehow just happened. So anyway, there I am, in Inorbit Mall - and I realise - I’m wearing the exact same blouse I wore the first time I went there! See, when you blog with pics you remember these things!
Then we decide to go have dinner at Nando’s (yes, just like last time).

So, I thought, what the heck, lemme go with the (old) flow & order the Chicken Espetada (like the last time). And yes, had lots of peri-peri this time too (what’s Nando’s without it?).

After dinner was forced to go to Bread Talk by a rather enthused Bread Talk addict - who bought oh, only about half the store.

So much that the pretty lady took us aside from the queue and dealt with us separately.

Intense fun before & after dessert. And lots of unrepeatable conversation. And of course, (before either of you say anything nasty), you two were missed.
And to end with the question that began this post - I don’t know if history does repeat itself. But I do know that the present tense is good. Thank you people.

For the record, it was just to describe her eyes, which, like the rest of her were very pretty, which I clearly stated in the post.
@ Khush:
How well we know each other. Absolutely. Even told the others!

Never mind. Lots of people use that slang to refer people of Chinese origin. It’s used so much that most of them donno that it’s a racial slur. And I believe among the 4 people who commented on this issue, most have done so only after reading the first comment.
Anyways, do take care of your use of words.

And yes, will take care.

I am sorry but i didnt mean to offend you since you were ignorant at worst. But i just took instant umbrage at a derogatory phrase to refer to a particular group of people, since we Indians were at the wrong end of it for so many years.Imagine being called “coolie” by a forign friend of urs even if its used in a apperictive way.
peace.

Perhaps there’s a lesson for all in this
(01) for people to learn that things they think may not be offensive, may actually be;
(02) and for others to understand that’s where people are coming from & to correct them in love & not from a position of assumed authority & disgust.

Hey Mel, I loved your reply on the racial slur thing. Especially (02). You’re a sweetheart
