After a rather unsuccessful attempt at changing the look of my blog, I’ve finally done it!

THIS

is now THIS:

This way, I get to keep my old bloggy template & yet have the look change. As usual (like every other post in this ‘termy junkie’ category) thanks go out to my bratty brother who’s making me buy him dinner in exchange for this (it could have been worse I suppose).

Besides the changed colors, I’ve also got my comments highlighted & a new header full of poloroid pics.

Am happy, so this is the way the blog’s gonna look until further notice. Enjoy :D

@ Mehak: :) Thx, me too!!

@ Jo: Knew I wouldn’t be able to please everyone! But I do like this one, so it stays for a while!

  5. One of the best designed blogs! Good job.

  6. Ajay D’souza is your brother, did’nt know that. Hold a contest on which template to choose, democracy rules!.

  7. Like the new color combo but I preferred the earlier header collage. Ah then, like Sakshi would put it - to each its own!

Back from Bhutan into the carbonsphere of Mumbai.
there’s only the blogosphere for respite eh? :)

  8. red is auspicious in several cultures…but in most cultures it is a sign of danger :)

and the boxy look of ur blog is out in the open too…nice template !!

P.S: does this still qualify as spring-summer? well, your decision this time :)

  9. Hey, thanks for the comments on my blog! Hey you do can come in once in a while….there are hindi songs too…:-) And my..my…what a transformation! Your blog looks gorgeous and sexy! Wow! Great work Mel….But keep on changing once in a while according to your moods….What is life without colours and variety?

  10. these are the weirdest colours on a blog i have seen! no offense….

  11. @ Twisted DNA: “One of the best designed blogs! Good job.” Wow thanks! Will pass on the word to Ajay. And do nominate me in that IndiBloggy Cat next year!

@ Mario: “democracy rules” - not on my blog it doesn’t :)

@ Ashish: “does this still qualify as spring-summer?” Don’t care about changing templates with the seasons!! The last one was around for many seasons. I just wanted a change that’s all!

@ Pradip: “Your blog looks gorgeous and sexy!” Like Blogger, Like Blog, eh?! And yes, agree with you about life being nothing without color & variety!

@ Gps: No offense taken. As I told Jo, I knew I wouldn’t be able to please everyone - and I’m not trying. At the end of the day it’s my blog & I have to like it, no?

  15. Actually, the brown doesn’t add to anything. Plus I hate chocolate. If you are looking for just change then it’s fine I guess. :|

“Have to say that you have a very pretty blog and after reading your some posts, Have to say that you are a pro blogger”

Actually the blog’s pro & I’m pretty ;) See you around!

  18. Hi Mel,

If Ajay is your bratty brother, then it makes you my daughter.

You blog is very good; you cannot compare it with Ajay’s as yours has a feminine and artistic touch. His is more utility oriented.

Just one small comment. Because of the dark colour, the websites/ comments on the right hand site do not come out clearly

  19. @ er, dad?: “Your blog is very good; you cannot compare it with Ajay’s as yours has a feminine and artistic touch. His is more utility oriented.”

Spoken like a true father with no favorites :D Please tell your son that too, he insists his blog is tons better than mine!!

Not sure what you mean about dark color? The color behind all the links is off-white… are you seeing something else?

  20. eg. Under Really Good Catholic sites you have
‘The Holy See-Official Site’ - The lettering is in black (underlined) and the background is dark maroon.. I have to strain a little bit to read ‘Holy See….

I visited Glor ify God after a long time. Continue to do the good work and update it from time to time.

I am glad I do not have to add 7+6 to send a comment to your blog

  21. @ Lancy: I had no idea what you meant, since it works fine here on Firefox. But after your second comment, I thought of double checking in Internet Explorer - & you’re right the backgrounds don’t show up.

Apparently it’s a problem with IE6 - if you upgrade to IE7 it should work fine. Nevertheless will try & have it rectified.

Lol to the 7+6 thingie. Never was too fond of math myself!

  22. Hi again!

and yes, The Voice In My Head is far different from Ajay _ On the road called Life! .

By the Ms. Laila, why don’t you add SUBSCRIBE TO COMMENTS in your site. It will help me and others be update with the upcoming comments and replies. :)

  23. @ Rishi: Am in fact in the process of revamping the entire subscribe panel. Should be up shortly.
  24. Hi Mel : Thanks for the info, I will upgrade to IE7.
I was very fond of maths, that is why I did Engineering. I always says maths is the only subject that you do not have to study very hard; you either get it or you dont.
Thanks for the site on the Online Catholic Bible, it led me to another very good site : http://www.scripturecatholic.com
that provided me with a lot of answers
