Even as the new prequel Hannibal Rising (released about a week ago) has already drawn in $23 million at the US box office, I can’t help but reflect on the similarities between the fictitious Hannibal & the very real sicko Moninder Singh.

More to follow. Watch this space.

Moninder is most likely not guilty. Surinder Kohli has confessed to the killings and cannibalism. The poilce have arrested Moninder only because he was Surinders employers. They have no proof or a statement from MOninder admitting guilt.

And I suppose you also think the Rs 3 lakh in bribes he gave to (now dismissed) cop Simranjit Kaur was to protect his servant?

THe bribes are obviously to protect himeslf. Moninders situation today is not a happy one if he is innocent. The Moninder has admitted using the bunglow for having sessions with prostitutes. Its an embarrassing admission for a otherwise respectable businessman and one that he is willing to pay for hushing up.

But in a small way, some part of the just me thinks it’s good that at least one person isn’t condemning the man before a fair trail. Let’s wait this out & see what the results of all the brain mapping etc are.

I intend to do a follow up post (hence the last line in the post) showing the differences between the two (which should also explain the title of the post).
And lol to your last line!

Hi! just wondering about Mohinder . I never heard about that case that you guys/gals are discussing about. Anyone helpful enough to shed some light on what the case is or if someone has some link to the decription of the case will be really great.
