WOO-HOO!!!

FINALLY. Finally, finally, finally, finally.

If I’m so relieved I can’t even imagine what Sabrina must feel like. Bina Ramani was in tears… emotionally recounting Jessica’s last moments as she struggled for breath in the car on the way to the hospital.

7 1/2 years.

And FINALLY some justice.

    @ inexile: Exactly!

    @ dev: Had this conversation about 1/2 hour back with someone. But I believe a start’s a start. And that’s in general. Specifically, how wonderful is this verdict for the family that has long suffered??!

    Look at this as a deterrent. Here’s a biggie who didnt get away. MAybe it’ll make other ‘biggies’ sit up and take notice of the fact that they arent above the law as they once thought they were.

    Must ntoe though, it took suo moto action of the Delhi HIgh Court for this to happen. Not easy!

    HE got a lifer!…Justice truly worked in this matter.

    Now pray that the Supreme COurt doesnt overturn this one or grant him a stay!

    Absolutely.

    @ Jerry: Well I think it will - the public outrage will be too much if the Supreme Court decides to pull one over us…

    @ Pensive: Yes. Though I couldn’t understand the whole payment thingies… Imagine one of the guys convicted with him had to pay the victim’s family only Rs 2000/- …. when all this started he told Malini Ramini that he’s take a sip of her for Rs. 1000/-….
