Romantic - Winners!

Thought it was time I’d end the “Romance in Mumbai” contest (though I must say I got some pretty interesting answers on the phone today )

Before I start with the winners, thought I actually totally loved Brat’s answer, but don’t know if there are any restaurants which actually serve dinner on the beach in Mumbai, so as such it didn’t qualify for this contest. Otherwise Brat, you’d surely be a winner. Oh, so romantic!

i am sure they have a restaurant somewhere in mumbai ( i think we do have a few in goa) that serve dinner on the beach . Yup u got that right.. on the beach with the water lapping at your feet - candle lit, soft music and some white wine..

So (drum rolllll), the winners are:

The skyline of Mumbai looks so enticing and alluring from these sky high restaurants. Having dinner with your loved one in one of these restaurants would be pretty romantic I guess

try strand hotel’s rooftop cafe in colaba !
can’t find a better spot !

… which was similar to inexile’s answer - simple but I’d liked it since I’ve never been to Strand Hotel & since I’ve always loved the concept of fine rooftop dining

getting wet in the rains !!! having cutting chai & peanuts !!! or maybe sharing a corn…or a kala-khatta !!! a lovely dinner by the pool side/sea shore in the evening…. watching a play together !!

Love the rains… think getting wet in the rains with a loved one would be sooo cute! And love watching plays too (though not sure everyone would find this romantic)

1. walk by the sea.. (my colony has an awesome sea-face… quite private too)

how abt renting out a yacht for a day! (feasible? i dont know. fun? of course!) or go for a trek. ok, maybe a walk in some quiet garden, or a quiet corner of the beach.
food with a view? ambassador, way up there in the revolving restaurant
new taj terrace. (its actually for meetings i here, but u can try)
fly down to blore, and visit the thirteenth floor.

easier still..
rent/download a nice movie. draw the curtains in the house, and enjoy it over some pop corn or nachos and cheese or tortillas and salsa or boiled corn

Because he made 2 entries! Because both of them had lots of (really nice) things in ‘em. And mainly because I’d never slot him a romantic. So was happily surprised.
