It’s always an exciting time for us unworthy Mumbaites when certain Bangaloreans descend upon us and I had a great time with Ana, Sonu, DV, Geh & Prem.

Started off the night by going to DV’s office. When one says “office” people usually imagine drab work environment. Not so with DV. This brilliant young boy (& yes, he’s single, contact me if you’re interested!) has bought off three entire floors of a building (in Dadar) and is slowly working on expanding his kingdom by buying off the whole building, one by one.

While I’m not quite sure what type of evil mastermind he may be, one thing is for sure… his office rocks :) We had a great time hanging out in his private office after long grand tour of all the floors and after much discussion on whether it was better to have a party on his terrace in the afternoon or in the night. We may just have to try both options and see which works ;)

At one stage (in between everyone’s adulations to DV) I told DV I’d happily marry him after seeing the office. Of course, was promptly taken to task by Sonu who told me to “stop being fickle”. Ok then!

From DV’s to Phoenix, it was off to Spaghetti Kitchen to eat din dins. Have been there before (see partial review here) and it’s always been pretty good.

This time too the food was good. I totally recommend the Chicken Tetrazzini (was the best imo of all the dishes we ordered) and a thin crust pizza (which is light enough to have as an appetizer).

Of course, when it comes to dessert, I have to say I was FLOORED by the Kahlua Mousse… I could barely take this pic because everyone else at the table was digging in - I literally had to fight all off - see it devoured from all sides!

Had a good time (as usual with these ppl!) and missed the ones who were far far away from us. Will have to make some long distant trips in the near future :)

“sorry if i offended you” - you absolutely did not! Am a nice hardy girl… don’t get offended too easily. And if I did, well, as admin I’d just probably edit your comment off :D

About the travel blog - I LOVE to travel! St. Augustine said “The world is a book and those who don’t travel read but a page” and that is SO the way I feel! I love going to new places, experiencing new cultures, tasting new food yummm…

Haven’t been around much but really enjoyed the places I’ve been too. Incidentally, thx for reminding me, my travel blog hasn’t been updated for a while. I’m really a bad travel blogger. Sigh.

India is such a beautiful country. I unfortunately not seen too much of it either, but given the chance…! And lol to the “eating” in Mumbai bit. Some other commenters give me a hard time about that!!

@ Abhishek: Welcome to TVIMH :) Didn’t know Shreyas read my blog! I once tried to read his blog but it was too technical for this dumb-not-blonde chick.

Totally love F1 - have been following it for a long time now. Guess I’ll see you back here post 22nd :D

And merci for what you said about the blog!

  13. Oooooooh… I’m unlucky number 13 on this post :(

//While I’m not quite sure what type of evil mastermind he may be.. :))
Ha ha ha! Poor ol’ DV! D’you imagine him cackling in his plush leather chair, planning for world domination?

Food looks yum! And foodies look nice! :D Good pics! (Yes, that’s a compliment, and NO, I’m not losing my touch :D)

  14. @ dev: Well, he does have a plush leather chair & he does cackle a lot. What he’s planning though is a secret to me!!

And great!!… am SO GLAD you’re losing your touch, though you say otherwise :D

  15. Thx for dropping a comment on myt blog. Hope i can keep it interesting enough for u to visit it again. 20. Tulan buddy, you definently have a crush on Melody and you don’t have a girl, you keep mentioning your girl to be on the safe side. :D

  21. Me agrees with Rahul ;).

  22. Have to agree with Rahul, so obivious Tulan has a crush on Melody. :))

  23. ok i have a blog and if u go the first achieves of the earliest month u will see a pic of me and my better half (my girl that is ) in nice wonderful wedding clothes with all the garments and the garlands. there are two of them one from wedding one from reception and than u can match that pic to my pic in the profile and then let me know if am making it up or if i am real

    tanda17.blogspot.com

is the blog address in case u do wanna check it out.

    thx

p.s. no crush on melody. no hard feelings melody.

  24. one more thing if u think the pic dont match the profile pic it is because we both have drastically reduced in size from that big chubby to nice fit and that is why i might be looking a bit thin in the profile pic from the face. If also that is not enough i will post one more recent pic on my blog if everyone pleases.

  25. It would have been a totally different thing if i was single ,but i am commited man and no infedility when it comes to committing myself to her. I just like to make new friends since all my best and really good friends are in india and one in dubai so being away from them is not easy and they are so busy blogging is not for that is why i like making new friends. Get to learn something new from everyone
