Imagine this - a B-grade remake of Arnie’s hit ‘The Terminator’. Only this time it’s Me in the lead role as ‘The Procrastinator’. And it’s all the doctors & dentists of this world that I’m telling (in my best Arnie voice) “I’ll be bach…. eventually”. (Sadly, “eventually” almost always catches up with one.)
This has not been a very good week for me. Have been coughing like a TB patient. It finally got so bad that I stopped self medicating with Benadryl & had to get myself to see my doctor. He was highly annoyed that I didn’t see him earlier & told me that Benadryl was the exact opposite of what I should have been taking for a ‘progressive cough’ and that it was a highly ‘abused drug’.
Damn, the last thing I thought of myself as was a drug abuser.
Well if my doc isn’t convinced I’m a procrastinator (& trust me he is), my dentist sure is. Have been sufferring on & off from stabbing pains due to my wisdom teeth since January of this year. Yes people, 9 months. Even the clear instructions received from my dentist in July didn’t push me any closer to the dentist’s chair.
Finally it’s been soo painful the last week I’ve scheduled the minor surgeries for Friday (tomm, 9.30am, pray for me!). Have been told I’ll look like a lop-sided swollen mouthed person for a couple of days, so there’ll be NO PICS for a while, ok?!
Had house guests from Oz this last week, so will post a pic on one of the many trips taking them sightseeing and out for meals night after night. Am quite ready to be operated & lie in bed for a while, me thinks.

Benadryl seems to be an abused drug even here, Its my wife’s
magic drug during the allergy season.
Who said advertisements sucks? In my house it WORKS!

@ somedevil: The original color was black, then there’s been lots of streaking and other masti. Stress and old age has also added lots of grey. Am not sure what the “real” color’s now, lol.
