In case you’re wondering where Part 1 was, read this post at Zoxcleb’s blog (he comments here as ‘gps’). It made me laugh out loud & I even left a comment about what a panvati he obviously was.

Tsk tsk.

Today on the way to the bowling arcade, Aj told me he’d have to fill fuel in the bike as it was running kinda low. Somehow it made me think of the blogpost I just mentioned & I said aloud to him “I hope there’s no pushing involved” (where after I narrated the blogpost to him).

So we reach the bowling alley – we have enough to fill on our way back (apparently). Only problem, when we were done with the bowling, Aj couldn’t get the bike started.

It appears that in addition to the fuel being low, we now have a leaky pipey thingie which is slowly draining the remaining fuel.

So, as you should have figured when you read this blogpost title, there was a little pushing involved :)
Of course, it wasn’t me. While Aj pushed the bike to the nearest mechanic (mercifully there was one just around the corner), I followed taking pictures (for our blogs of course!!)

By the time we got out of there & made for home, we got stuck in heavy Sunday evening Juhu traffic. Then we had to go fill the fuel up again (leaky pipey thingie problem was not fully resolved).

So we’ve made it half past Juhu, have to turn all around again in heavy traffic (mercifully being on bike is a lot faster than a car, though it’s doubtful whether I’ll do it again in a hurry – all those fumes can really kill you (not to mention the dirt spoils your hair).

Reached the pump & Aj spends an eternity trying to sort out pipe himself after filling fuel. I needless to say, stand on the side & take pictures.

Mercifully after all this we make it back home (& I even convince him to take the bike to the Gym later).

One has to stop and wonder why this all took place? Was it Z’s black tongue that did him in? Do I have a black tongue myself? Was it the fact that we said “hope there’s no pushing involved?” – the statement, that did us in???

The Curse Continues. If you need to post Part 3, feel welcome.

  1. I commented on this post on Z’s blog too. And as I told him, I’m not sayin anything, not a word.

  6. @ dev: Smart boy…. see what trouble my big mouth got us into. Though really speaking it wasn’t too much trouble for me. Ok, see what trouble my big mouth got Aj into :D

@ gps: Yeah yeah yeah. Enjoy yourself at my expense… after all I did the same to you a few days back. Sigh.

PS: Glad it took you only ONE WHOLE DAY to stop laughing and realise you were being mean.

@ Van: Interesting. So perhaps we passed you somewhere along the way!! Hmmm. “United in bad traffic we stand, Mumbaikers we all shall always be”

  7. only 12 hrs actually ;-)

  8. As she said, she didn’t do any pushing at all and instead she was busy with the camera.

    Blog-o-holic indeed!

  9. @ Baju Pau: It was the “Hope-there’s-no-pushing-involved curse”; I said it aloud and voila! … there was pushing involved!

Who cares if I personally didn’t do any of it? Am not the “pushing” kind anyway, needless to say.

  10. Hey Y’all : Rahul Gaitonde from Thane (a new blogger apparently), Mumbai goes through Part 3 - check it out.

The curse continue. Anyone going through Part 4, do let us know.

    :) Happy pushing!
