Yeah, according to my trusty Nokia that’s what this last weekend was. Have a friend who just went out & bought himself the same phone & I was thinking - it’s been 5 months since I bought mine - my review - FABULOUS. Love it, love it, love it - can’t believe I was ever a non-Nokia person.

Back to my diary - Saturday 25th, went to the Marine Plaza for the fusion cooking class (see my previous post). Night, had friends come over for dinner & then we all went to Fun Republic to see “Being Cyrus”.

As things turned out, second time in a row that we went to Fun & had to see another show (this time because it was house full). Bought tickets for “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”.

I checked the Imdb ratings after seeing the film & it turns out that TONS of people, esp the critics LOVED this film. It even won Oscars… enough said? Yup, you guessed it, I hated it. Maybe I was just not in the mood to sit & understand the long, winding and confusing ride the put us through. Back to the present & into the past. Maybe it was the pace, which imho was terribly slow. There was a very high profile cast & all of them were very brilliant in the characters. Maybe I should just lay off the sci-fi’s for a while.

We did all have a fabulous time though, we were all drunk on laughter (if that’s possible). I had to actually get out of the car on the way home & hold my stomach cause it was hurting soo bad… a fun night we’re not gonna forget in a hurry :)

Sunday 26th after Mass went for breakfast with three friends that I hadn’t met in a long time.

Pretty much ended up spending the day with them. After breakfast headed over to one of guy’s place to watch “Just Friends” on his new sexy 42″ Plasma TV. The movie is at heart a romantic comedy, lots of slapstick & a bit of modern craziness in it. Anna Faris (Scary Movie) who played a supporting role stole the show, she was hilarious as ‘Samantha James’ the rock godess diva from hell. “Wait a minute am I being Punk’D? Oh my god! Ashton you really got me! Ha Ha! Ashton! Ashton!?! “

The movie is Chris (Ryan Reynolds) who reunites with his old high school crush (Amy Smart), whose rejection of him turned him into a womanizer. Shouldn’t really be reviewing it though because I haven’t seen the end yet (!!), it got pretty late & we got summoned to lunch & never got back to the movie. Probably had about 20 mins to go but I’m pretty sure I know how it’d turn out though :)

Lunch moved into coffee time & we also managed to do an assortment of things in between (including checking out a very cool new apartment). Got home, Del dropped in for dinner & I pretty much crashed after that.
