A Good Weekend.

Is it just me or is time flying? Imagine, I’ve already been back a week!

Had a great weekend though. Friday 17th evening met up with my uncle & aunt who are down from L’Amerique. It was really good to catch up with them as I haven’t met them for some years now. Then in the night, travelled way up north (felt like it was a long distance journey!) & had a family dinner with them & almost the whole family that’s in Bombay. It was great fun & really felt like old times (minus the lot who weren’t around, I really did miss my sis & other cousins). Came home very late in the night which was not a good thing considering I had work early the next morning.

Saturday 18th, worked a half day (as I said, from early morning). Came home & immediately got cracking on a chore that’s been pending & was busy with that till afternoon. Was more than rewarded with a fun filled evening with my mum & Del - shoe shopping!!! What could possibly be more fun?

Of all the stores we went to (on Linking road) I thoroughly recommend ‘Soul to Soul’ which in our opinion has the best shoes & great boots - very different & lovely!

Had a makeshift dinner at McDonald’s (though my mum insisted I eat a “proper” dinner at home too). No Greek gods around this time though

I was also the Desicritic of the day on the 18th. Merci, merci.

Today, Sunday 19th, went to see the matinee show of ‘The Producers’ at Fun Republic. Unfortunately for us, they just cancelled the show. Great Scott. So we did the next best thing in our op, saw the other show put up ‘A History of Violence’. Most of the lot who had come to see The Producers left when the show was cancelled, as a result we got a kindof private screening with just 10 of us (I counted) in the whole theatre. I even got pulled up by one guy because I was whispering, it was that quiet in the place! lol. Movie review will follow.

Ended the day with a long walk. Deliberately called it a night early (it’s not even 9pm!) as I just want chill at home, perhaps watch a movie on tele & to relax a little before the upcoming week.
