It’s been a hard week and I, I’ve been workin’ like a dog…

Ok, not particularly like that dog ![]()
Back to work - I can’t (and shouldn’t!) complain because almost everyone I know is drowning in work too. This week it was not so much the quantities than the stress involved that kinda got to me… The rat race in Bbay city pretty much turns pyts of age 25 into greying, stressed & worn out coats.
God is good though - so as I said, no complaints from me.
Managed, in the midst of the madness this week, to have dinner with my dear friend Sean. We were really terrible at figuring out what to eat & where to go & went to four different places in three suburbs (!!) until my stomach caved in & I just wouldn’t budge from the last one (Yoko’s) even though there was a half hour waiting (that too on a random day, mid-week!).

Have been to Yoko’s more times than I can count over the years and never been dissapointed. This time though I was slightly unprepared for the prices. Though the prices have increased radically - the sizzlers are now upto INR 300 each - the portions & the place (& pretty much everything) remains the same.
Inflation?
Anyway, got a chance to catch up with Sean after ages, so it was good regardless.

Not been upto much else this week (except work) - and was almost going to have to work the weekend too but as of now am free Saturday & but still have to do a half day Sunday.
Had lots of things I wanted to do over the weekend - watch Anish Trivedi’s play “Still Single” which my company is doing some AV for - unfortunately will not be able to make it. For those who can though, it’s on from the 10th through the 12th (first run).
Then there’s “Fun with Dick & Jane” which premiers tonight. Again not sure I’m gonna make it as I still have lots of work to do.
added later: Work Smherk! Did make it for the movie - and it was great! Review following.
Also have Yuni’s wedding tomm (will def. have to go for that).
And finally Del & I have decided to bake a cake on Sunday when I get home from work… hmm.
… Or maybe I’ll just not do any of those & get some shut eye?
Yeah, that sounds about right.

The b&w effect is brilliant, thought the dog was so cute; completely agree with you! And totally loved the shoes as well (though may have been better had they been slightly higher up the ankle, imo).
@ dev: Just did a review (post following this one). Not been to Mangalore yet, but would like to come one day (late releases or not!)
