Well, it’s not exactly an ethic I buy into, but recently that’s what life has been. The parties haven’t stopped & work’s been piling up & turned crazier than ever…

An old friend of mine from college asked me out to dinner on Wednesday 18th night. Was not sure of going, but realllly glad I did as we were joined by 2 other guys from college (one whom I hadn’t met for 8 years!!) and it turned out to be SUCH a fun evening. We discussed everything from the first day of college to old college crushes, imitated our professors and caught up on the goss - who was seeing whom, who’s married, who’s having kids, (& unfortunately) who’s divorced.

We had dinner at Chinagate. Though I’m not big on Chinese food, Chinagate’s always been great. They’ve extended the place like crazy - I don’t even remember it being so big!! The food was amazing as always (average prices INR/- 200 Chicken, 400/- Seafood, which is great).

We were joined later on by 2 other girls & one very very very creepy guy who really went beyond the line of appropriate behaviour. We left the before things got worse & I have a feeling they may just have. Besides that however, it was a great night.

Thursday (19th) night was a special party at a club for the very gorgeous Dez. I actually went to the party & then had to leave as I got an urgent work call at 11.30. Was busy until 1.30am! Didn’t get any pics of Dez at the club, but here’s one I took of her the next night.

Friday 20th, was crazy! Both the Irish Prime Minister & the Premier of Quebec were in the city & were having many functions in the city.

In the night was another function at a friend’s place in Napean Sea Road. I simply love the view he has from his place (click to see bigger pic):

21st, Saturday night dropped two buddies at the airport to catch their flight to Singapore. Then almost on reaching there, one of them realised they both had left their laptops behind. Great Scott. Mercifully traffic was not too heavy & they made their flight on time!

Anne had left Friday & Del’s now come over again to spend a couple of days with me - so we again chatted waaaay into the morning.

So much so that I was way too tired to go to a Christening party I was supposed to attend on Sunday, 22nd afternoon at the Wellington Club. Did make it for Just Like Heaven in the night however.

Watched it at IMAX Wadala which is definetely my favorite (by far) Multiplex in this city. Gorged down many American hot dogs, rotis, popcorn & chocolate shakes before the film.

I enjoyed the movie (review following this) and it was just the thing before an obviously long week ahead.
