Pooped.

Had a lovely day (at least the first part of it, was pretty exhausted by part 2)

Started off by heading to the city for some Christmas Shopping. Were three of us (& I wasn’t really shopping, just tagging along for the ride). First stopped by a jewellers to pick up an ordered chain. I’m not really a jewellery person (will don for weddings, but that’s about it).

Next dropped into Indigo Delicatessen for lunch.

Had a Fish & Chips while the others ordered Quiches and Soups. Food was great (a tad expensive, but it is Indigo) but the service really was not happenning. My friend who’d been there earlier assured me it wasn’t usually the case though.

Next headed to the Hilton Towers (earlier the Oberoi Towers) to the Shopping Center.

While one of us was busy buying tons of stuff (I got gifted a gifted a lovely black and gold beaded bag, ty!) two of us headed to The Pastry Shop. I ate a mouth watering chocolate mousse called Desire. Some fun was made whether I was going to take pic for blog or not. Decided that I’ve been on about desserts too much, so didn’t take the pic.

Next almost went to ‘Thanks’ (houses Fendi) at Worli but decided to head to Good Earth which is an AMAZING interior store just next to Phoenix in Parel. Have been hearing all about it for a long time now but hadn’t been there yet. Definetely wouldn’t want to take mum here, she’d go crazy (I pretty much did too).

The ground floor stores candles, linens, all types of crockery & cutlery, lots of other house stuff. But the real goodies are on the first floor. OMG. Take my breath away!! Exquisite furniture… grand just grand stuff…

After Good Earth moved onto Lifestyle at Phoenix. By the time we were done with Lifestyle I was pretty pooped so we decided to have a coffee and some sandwiches at “Qwicky’s” (got to love the name You want a qwicky?)

In retro, think this was a mistake because we would have probably made it out of Parel a lot quicker than we did. Due to the fair at Mahim (which is on at this time of the year for about 10 days) many roads were closed and the traffic had built up on both sides of Mahim. We spent hours in the car & was very very very relieved to finally get home.

Though when I got home I found I had to take Jess & Karl out for dinner. So here we go again.

Had dinner at a place I ain’t reviewing here (didn’t like it at all). Went to Juhu beach after that.

I think it must be ten years or more since I last went to Juhu Beach! The beach is lined with bhelpuri & other stores. Walked for at least half an hour on the beach (no, it wasn’t clean) before deciding to move on.

Had a couple of drinks at Zenzi before calling it a night. Went home & crashed. Spent the whole of the next day in bed (22nd) and deservedly so, me thinks!
