Spent lots of time on the phone with my dear friend Aneel who was down from Dxb & on his way out of the country. He’s busy busy busy with his ministry, which is really flourishing & doing great things for the Lord. Also met up with him on Wednesday evening & he gave me an autographed copy of his book (awwww, thx dear) which I read & throughly enjoyed (& totally recommend).

Got on a reading kick after that & have been glued to Fulton Sheen’s “Treasure in Clay” since. Am only a 1/4 done (it’s a really long autobiography) but I’m enjoying every bit & laughing out a loud, reading passages to Del etc. Very very good. Have been falling asleep most nights with it ![]()

Haven’t been going out at all recently & have been pretty much tied down at work & have been hearing EBs like “you don’t want to spend any time with us anymore” from waaay too many people. Oh Please. Like I want to sit home & work 24/7.
Anyway did manage to have Sunday Brunch at Zenzi. Had the Grilled Section @ INR 550/- per head (exclusive of taxes). It includes a single helping of salad (lots to choose includings some nice pastas, fish like squid, sushi etc) has a grilled beef steak/chicken/pork option (I choose the last one, had amazing sauté sticks), a mocktail & a dessert to round things up.
The food was as good as always, but the ambience was pretty bad (unlike @ night) as they apparently have a Sunday Documentary Screening in the front. So they had not only shut off the front section but also were not playing any music at all. The place wasn’t crowded (just one other table) so it was very eerily silent. Didn’t even feel like talking loudly. A bit weird to say the least.
Ended up the week with a very very nice coffee at Barista. Started out to be a five minute thing & ended up over three hours. Me’s not complaining. If you’re reading this: Had a very good time, merci beaucoup.

May be you should just hear a talk. It’s less than an MB but about 20mins long.
Then let me know what effect it has on you. He is an amazing man, the man for our times. We need more like him.
