Had a really long day at work including 3 meetings (which were unfortunately spread throughout the city).
Went & got the papers for a club I’m joining. Didn’t end up taking Tennis lessons (which was one of my NY resolutions this year) but hopefully will do so next year! In the meanwhile, will be able to start swimming daily again at the new club. Used to do so at Wellingdon but it just got too far to go daily. Swimming is a great all-body-toner and something I’ve always found great fun.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I can just imagine it…..

Night, went out to Zenzi. Been a regular there since it’s inception & have always liked the ambience. The food’s good too (avg INR 400) and the music ranges from lounge to some weird trance-ish forest. If you haven’t been to Zenzi, I really recommend you go, at least once.

Everytime I go to Zenzi, always meet up with tons of people I know & this time was no different! Had a really good time. It just happened to be ‘Ladies’ night’ (Tuesdays) and the waiter told us that the ladies were being given a complimentary Cosmopolitan - did I want one? I said, sure if it’s free why not?
Last time at Ladies night in ‘Out of the Blue’, I received a free one week trial at a ladies’ gym and also a free copy of AsiaSpa magazine, so this is what I was expecting:

Instead, this is what I got:

Hmmmm. Well, surely a non-drinker like me can be excused for making that mix up!! Since the drink contains
* 1 1/2 parts vodka
* 1 part Cointreau
* 1 part cranberry juice
* dash of lime juice
* 1 lime rind
and since I don’t drink any alcohol whatsoever, had to forgo the cosmo (though I got teased about being a nut).
Ended the night at Lobby which was just about right (not too crowded or empty). Tommorow’s apparently a dry day (due to it being Ganpati) so I guess a lot of people got out tonight despite it being a weeknight.
