Though Montoya won today (Alonso was 2nd), there’s no way acc. to me that anyone other than Alonso will win the World Championship title in 2005 (6 grand prix 1st places, 4 races to go & he’s in amazing form!). Let’s see what Kimi does also.

As for Constructors, Renault & McLaren are fighting a good fight - both teams took 2 places each out of the top four! The way the F1 scores, 1st + 4th = 15 pts (10 + 5) which is higher than 2nd + 3rd = 14 (8 + 6), so McLaren got 1 extra pt over Renault this race. Yet Renault’s still in the overall lead….

Anything can happen!! Next venue: Belgium 11th September.

Back to the other sport which is foremost in our minds today - am real bummed because I can’t stay up and watch Sania play Maria Sharapova (The match is on right now, in Arthur Ashe as I type this) Though I have no doubt she’s gonna lose, would have still loved to watch it…. And OH, how I am gonna KICK myself if on the very minute & off chance she wins!
