What I’ve been upto:

Mainly been praying these days Yeeeah, I can just hear you think - “it’s about time….” & what can I say? Sometimes things are going just the way you want them & you tend to neglect the Lord - and then you get a royal kick on your backside and you run right back to the Lord. Very matlabi indeed. Can’t claim to be anything else.

Praise God for being faithful despite my lack of faithfulness.

So the novenas have started at The Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount - can you believe the place is so famous it even has an entry in Wikipedia??!!!

Eli & I have been doing the novenas together for a long time & I was particularly happy he was coming back from the UK in August, so that we would get a chance to do them together again this year. Del also joined us & we had a particularly good Holy Mass today, celebrated by the ever articulate & holy Rev. Fr. Savio DeSales. He spoke about why many Catholics say Mass is “boring” , what the attitude of Mother Mary was when dealing with Jesus - and how we could emulate her. A good start indeed
