Had dinner at Ming Yang at the Taj Land’s End. I really like Ming Yang (though I don’t go often since I’m not very big on Chinese food) and once even organised a party for a friend there. Anyway had to take my darling Aju out, so decided on MYs.
But first for some Bakra-giri… ![]()
Told the idiot we were going to Jimme’s Kitchen (yeah right) because I was short on cash & though it was a small place it was not really all that bad…
I had come home pretty late from the Discipleship programme that we had (excellent!!) and it was just short of 11pm when we finally headed out.
Decided to go ahead with my Bakra plan & drove to Jimme’s. Made Aju get out of the car and ask if they had a valet…
Trust me, it was all I could do to not laugh…
Ajay of course wasn’t all that dumb & he instead just asked the doorman where we could park. The man promptly pointed out to spot in front of huge garbage dump. Dumbass Aj still thinks I’m serious about all this & he’s now pointing to me where I should put the car ![]()
So instead I honk & ask him to ask them if they accept credit cards
They don’t of course and Ajay came back to tell me - by this time however I couldn’t control my laughter any more… it was really so hilarious to see poor Aju all dressed up standing outside Jimme’s expecting me to come out there!!! Drove directly to the Taj from there & enjoyed our meal.
After dinner Aj headed back home, but since the night was young went out with S to Seijo, which as usual was rocking (Sat night!). There was a very cool drummer (I think he was the same guy who was there the last time I went with Mamu) and good music. S’s three girlfriends were busy partying at H20 but I didn’t want to join them there as I didn’t really like the place from last time. But since Seijo shut early, we went there anyway.
By the time we arrived of course, H20 was also shut, so we all headed down to Lobby Bar (about 10 of us in 4 cars). Lobby was unbelievably packed!! Presumably everyone who was anywhere in the city had landed up there & I met tons of friends. Had a good time, partied after a long time… wore some very pretty high heels & felt good… what is it about shoes that makes one feel pretty? Hmmm….

Anyway since you’re crying like an old lady (to quote Eli), I’m taking you (& Eli & Del) to a play this Saturday. Already booked tickets for the 4 of us.
