The Longest Yard

It’d be honest to say that I love black movies… I love the whole “we are so much cooler than thou” attitude, love the cars, love the bling, love the music (oh yeah!) and I so totally loved this movie.

Adam Sandler is not one of favorite actors. But he honestly outdid himself in this movie. This ensemble cast includes the lovable Chris Rock, the ageless Burt Reynolds, the tres cool Nelly and tons of others. Courtney Cox starts off the movie with an amazing little cameo - and it’s all upwards from there…

The movie’s about an ex-football star (Sandler) who was thrown off the AFL for fixing a game and who through various other nefarious deeds (& I really loved these!!) lands himself in the middle of a very weird prison, weirder guards & the wisest-cracking criminals in the movies.

This movie’s great - and not only if you understand black humor - the entire theatre were rolling on the floor laughing out loud.

Must see!
