Started the week off by becoming ill (another viral flu, most likely). Decided to self medicate (kids, don’t try this at home) and spent much of Monday, at work & half drugged. Know what people with hangovers must feel like - all my reactions were sooooo slow. Missed Music Ministry prac (& got to know that I was not the only one with virus in the ministry)
Stayed home Tuesday & rested. Was much better by evening & decided to go for the prayer meeting after all. Thought I’d just do my ministry and leave right after if I was not too well. Turned out to be a really good thing I went - a lot of the members were missing (we were only 3 out of 8) and the other 2 left after the P&W (not a common thing, we’re usually all very particular). So I ended up animating the last hymn by myself. As it turned, was very glad I went. Was totally ok afterwards as well.
Wednesday was Dad’s bday. Had already had the “big” celebration in Goa, so really didn’t have much of a do, only a few close friends and the family. Quite a nice relaxing night. Haven’t bought Dad a gift yet, but planning on buying him a treadmill. Only hope he uses it more than the guitar I bought him for new year.

Thursday was an amazing wet and lazy day
Spent most of it at a friend’s place being lazy and doing nothing. Even watched a bit of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (help!!!!) after many years. Everything’s almost exactly as I remember it, lol.
I also (finally) got myself enrolled for a cooking class (!!!!). Woke up one day, realised I was almost 27 and that I couldn’t make tea. Well.
Anyway, my A. Susan recommended Sharda Pargal (she also sweetly called her & spoke to her for me, ty) who has long experience as a cookery instructor (I think she said 40 yrs!!) and also has written books such as Meat: 100 Recipes from Around the World, The Chicken Cookbook and Just Chicken: 100 Easy Recipes
Well here’s a dunce who hopefully won’t present too much of a challenge for her. Will keep you updated, I start Monday.

Today, Friday was back to work after almost a week of doing nothing (man, I love my life!). Was pretty stressed about an important meeting.. but managed to pray and release it all. The meeting turned out pretty well, praise God!
Was supposed to have a quiet dinner tonight, but got ditched
so watched Bride & Prejudice (again!) & America’s Sweethearts (for the first time) on Star Movies instead.
Loved Bride & Prejudice the first time I saw it too and it still made me laugh out loud. America’s Sweethearts was ohhh soooo cute…. very funny and very chweet.
Perfect thing to do when you’re all alone: sit and watch other people fall in love… Yeah, I’m ready for that ledge too… John Cusack give me some room …
